I know what you mean. When I cam to Eprise, AL I figured I would be the lone Viper. Cme to find out the is a 98(red) here also and just heard about a black coupe also. Go figure, there are a few people with taste(other than me

The same thing hapenned to me in Kentucky on I-65. They was headed to Bowling Green and I passed them going the wrong direction. I mean there was at least 9-10 Vipers from the ind/Ky viper club. I would have done anything to be in the midst of that parade.

What you saw was Chicagoans going to the "Supercarschicago" shootout. There is a post about it in RT/10 and GTS discussions, complete with pictures.

Dan...did you enter and park at the dragstrip? I didn't notice any other yellow Vipers except for Butch's yellow GTS that day. The caravan up to the strip was a blast. If you ever make it to the Schaumburg area on Thursday night that's when we all get together behind the UNO's parking lot off Meacham. Stop in sometime and check out some awesome cars.
