Well alot of us are excited about going to a Resort Hotel, as there is always more to do! I , like everyone else , would like the rooms to be slightly less, but considering that VCA brokered for us and got rid of the dreaded parking and resort fees ( $9 + $19 dollars per day ), I was pretty pleased. This will actually keep my price down below what it was years back, and having 24 hr duty guards for our Snakes is pretty cool. What important things did I find out in my little digging expedition, well.........
1. There are 30 shops in the Resort, and 5 OF THEM ARE BARS !!!
2. Most of the SnakeCharmers will probably end up at Jack Daniels, as this is the loudest bar, and the one they get the most complaints from.
3. There is a GIANT shopping mall right next door to the Hotel, so I imagine some Olympic spending will take place with some couples.
4. The General Jackson Steamboat ride is still operating, and it is just around the corner from the Hotel ( walking distance ).
5. There is now a Golf Course close by.
6. Dolly Parton will be a guest of Steve Ferguson.
7. Shania Twain, Martina McBride and Faith Hill have personal invites to attend from Tony Estes.
8. DC has ordered 4,000 lbs of Cocktail Shrimp for the " 2 Tons of Fun Buffett!'
9. Jay Leno will not be there, unless he gets to hang out with Tony Estes and his three loverly invitees.
10. The beer will be the best ever, with personal assurances from
Dieter and Wolfgang -- und they know their Bier !!!!
