Still haven't registered yet. Since we are talking of classes, will there be a

"Stock Tire, Never Drag Raced Before, hope to at least get into the 12's, CLASS?"

I would think you would do more than 12's on your car. I do 12.1 and 12.2 all day on mine at 118 mph in the 1/4.

I bet you could hit low 11's until you get used to it, and then hit into the 10's.

I actually agree -- I'd love to see a "street tire" class, which does NOT include ET streets or drag radials. Try launching a 700 RWHP car on street tires, and you'll see why this isn't as unfair as it sounds...

Hey Gerald, I absolutely promise you will be able to get your Doug Levin, Level 2 monster into the "12's"!!!!

How about it Doug? Will you back me up on that one?

Also, we don't want anyone without a lot of (or ANY) drag racing experience to feel out of place or intimidated. We will have experienced drivers there to teach or help in any way possible. In your case..... they will probably be lined up to help you play with something so sweet!

Please remember, the order of the day will be to have FUN, and have the chance to get plenty of runs in. We need everyone to just relax a bit over things like the tire issue or any other class tweaks until we finish a unique and special tire deal we're working on that may totally change a lot of thinking. We expect to have that set by next week, so there will be PLENTY of time to decide on your options. See you there!
