VOI - Questions that need answers

[94 RT/10 Black MAMBA]

1. Does the price charged ($600-700 whatever)include the hotel, food etc.?

2. Do they have classroom training on driving?

3. Do they allow you to drive your car on the track after classroom training without instructors?
Are these class sizes limited and if so how can one be sure of getting in one?

Any other commentary on the specifics of the experience is appreciated.

Hi, Paul. Basically, I would say...no, no, and no...with a hedge. There were Tech sessions at VOI.6 during which we could ask questions of Team Viper staff, now PVO folks. There is a small amount of track time (maybe 20 minutes with an instructor who guides you through a few laps on what I woiuld consider a crowded track). In times past there has been autocross for all using Neons, skid pad time in Dodge trucks, drags using your Viper, and autocross uning your own car. AFTER VOI.7 there is a Viper Days event for two days during which time there are classroom sessions on driving and track time with instructors. As one progresses at Viper Days, one can start to solo.

The price does not include hotel. It does include meals, entertainment, track time, gift package.

No boring classroom training required.

At St Louis in-car instructors were mandatory and included in the price. I don't know if that will be policy at Nashville. Stick around for Viper Days and drive the track with or without instructors, your choice.

You can hang loose and don't have to worry about babysitting everybody else's kids because kids aren't allowed!!! That was for you Eric.
