Has anyone heard of this........I'm replacing my cluth and flywheel and need to get my trans fixed, when I removed the trans I found a sticker on it that read: This trans is covered by a warranty exchange program cal 1-800-542-3077 before any repairs.I've tried the # but it is always busy...is it possible to get a new trans under warranty...that would be nice.
if anyone knows please let me know.

thanks Scott

Sorry I don't know anything about the trans Scott...but I did notice you're in Fairfax, VA. I just bought a '94 RT/10 a few weeks ago and I live in Alexandria. Drop me a line sometime at (703)780-5629 or e-mail at [email protected] and we'll compare notes or meet up for a beer sometime.

Are you the original owner? Does your trans and VIN# match? It could be that your trans was replaced by the previous owner then beat up a second time before being sold to you.

The sticker on the trans came on the earlier cars to notify techs before trans replacement. It is a number for authorization purposes. (had to get preapproval before replacement) As far as I know, that number has been inop for a few years. Trans replacements are carefully tracked. If your car has an extended warranty then you might be able to get it covered. Technically it voids the drivetrain warranty with the mods you have.dj
