I misplaced my service manual. I would be grateful for a web address where I can look up the R&R procedure for the water pump. It looks simple, but I like to see what Mother Mopar's book says.

Water pump seems OK, but there is seepage around the gasket. Have new gasket, will replace (and inspect water pump).

Thanks all, George

very basic George, take youre time and know youre torque specs......pully bolts 23Nm(200inchlbs).....pump to cover 41Nm(30ft lbs)make sure you clean ALL of the old gasket off, also be carefull with cam position sensor/plug,and also make sure when you remove pump that you see evidence of gasket failure would be ashame to do it twice....goodluck

Vipermed - thanks for info. Good to have torque specs. I've heli-coiled aluminum recently on a Supra, and it was a ***** (lack of room).

Still have a question, though. It looks pretty basic, but I've never done a Viper water pump. Any need to yank off any accessories? At first glance, it just looks like draining coolant, removing serpentine belt, pulley, lower coolant hose, then water pump.

Thanks again, George

you're correct, you do want to remove power steering pump cooler only to save scratching the he.. out of you're arms and makes belt much easier, alternator does not have to but would give you better acces if you did,it is pretty much as basic as it looks, have fun

George- I do not know if your done yet. But be careful and watch the position of your belt when you bolt the water pump in. Not that I ever had a problem like that.
