I had my '96GTS weighed earlier this year at a racing event. It came out as follows: LF, 956; RF, 945; LR, 908, RR, 909. The left front weight is with me in the car. If my math is correct, I think that comes out to about 51-49. My GTS is lowered 1" and equipped with 18" HRE wheels and Penske 3-way adjustable suspension. Work was done by Ken Klickman at Timberline Dodge in Portland, OR. The car drives like it's on rails---ask Jon B.
Hope this helps. I have a few extra HP to move the extra weight around when Jon B is driving.

50/50 is not necessarily "perfect"

Modern race cars, especially open wheel, run in the 40-30/60-70 F/R range. I am not sure of all the reasons why, but one would be better distribution of braking forces under threshold braking.

So a bit of rear bias I think is a better thing than 50/50.

Tony, looks front heavy to me. My corner weights come in at
LF 897 RF 829 LR 938 RR 882 after getting the cross weights evened out. Also most of the literature I have seen show the Viper GTS at 48/52.

Steven et al......... I recall 51F - 49R as OE / nominal.

Unfortunatley, when Tony and I are BOTH in his car, the weight becomes more like the 80-20 rule! Thankfully, he has a wing to settle the rear.

I love my GTS til Im driving Tony's GTS......a humbling experience, w/ BIG, big-brakes,and much more. He even let me drive his D-sports RADICAL...... YIKES! Sell the vette, Brenda !
and lots of upgrades.
