Weird \"leak\" kinda...?
I have a funky "leak". I can smell coolant when the engine is hot, it comes from between the heads, through the intake manifold, directly over the T-stat. I never have any coolant in my oil, never actually LOSE coolant, or have any coolant tracks anywhere. It has me BAFFLED. the only thing I noticed is that the T-stat housing is covered in white dots, which leads me to believe that the T-stat's housing may be porous, like what happened to the older oil pans.
It has been noticable for as long as I can remember. Anyone have any idea what it could be, or a similar problem?
