Giving it all it had, I went from second to first. What an awful noise. Engine winding up, tires breaking loose, trans noise, who knows what else. Lucky I was quick on the clutch, so the car only momentarily broke the rear tires loose, never in danger of spinning it.
I have peace of mind knowing that a lot of Vipers see a whole lot harder use than I give on the street, and they seem to be able to take it just fine. I'm guessing the worst part is driveline shock, any thoughts on problems I might see later. Engine seems just fine, don't think I over revved it, but who knows. With all that happening I never looked at the tach.
I read someone say to shift with your thumb down. Now I'm trying that for the 2-3 and 3-4 shift. If I understand it right it kind of forces a bias to the right...good idea.
