I was really wanting to get some six speed passes in before now but our local street car race is only two weeks away so I needed an outing to make sure everything was ok. This one race every year is the reason I even did an auto to swap back and forth with the stick. I was tired of being inconsistent against the automatic cars. Anyhow, did some street testing and logging Friday with the six speed and then came back and put the powerglide in. Saturday, we drove up to a little 1/8 mile track in Crossville Tn. This was the last event of the summer heads up and index series for them. Lots of small tire cars, the bad boyz down into the fours so the track is usually very good.
First pass was a shake down and I found the boost controller was not exactly right in the software and went a 6.19 shutting off a few times. Second pass was a 5.94
Third time I was greedy at the start and immediately smoked the tires. Forth pass was good enough that I called it quits for the night.

Sixty foot: 1.408
330 feet: 3.829
1/8 mile: 5.839
MPH: 124.595

This was with my ET streets. Still spun a little at launch on the last pass.
A few interesting notes: Shifted out of first gear at 83 mph and went through the lights at 5100 rpm. Average boost on out in 1st gear was 13.0 and in high gear it was 14.5
I'm working on the video but my two pos cameras are not cooperating

My buddy said the passes looked really boring. Inside the car that wasn't true but when I saw the video, they were right

Pretty lame on the excitement factor. Granted most of the other cars were doing wheel stands, crossing the center line etc. etc. Here are a couple of shots that someone took:

Cool pics, the second one is now my background. AWESOME 60ft time!

I couldn't figure out what the light or FIRE was under the back of the car :D Finally figured out that it's either the 330' or finish lights. The ones I have been familiar with don't really project a light beam like that.

Never mind just realized this was with the glide. Who made the torque converter? On a glide there is nothing more important than the right converter.
