You might be able to get into a low miles 98. (I bought mine last June for $55K, less than 5k miles, included both tops.)

Why would you want a car that leak oil all the time?? From your own words.

Just quoting your other brilliant posts. (Do all vipers from 97-2002 have the oil leak). What do you think people would say YES every 97-02 leaks oil. Its a case by case bases like any other car. It depends on many factors. How it was installed at the factory. Or,how hard the car has been ran or, both. The amount of people that have never had an oil leak greatly out weights those that have incurred this problem. I have 00 ACR 16k on it ran pretty hard no leaks. Not trying to be A*S, just replying to your post the way you posted it.

that gts above is a smokin deal. dan cragin has an excellent reputation. the tires are 1100-1300. the exhaust is a must have upgrade (though opinions vary on manufacter), with headers upwards of 5K (installed). if i hadn't picked up my acr 6 months ago i'd be all over it.

You could of had my PRIMO 1998 GTS with 4300 miles on her for
$55k with an extended warranty but it went to a nice couple in West Virginia. Now I must search for my next viper a Yellow GTS!!!! Good luck finding your toy!!!

Clean GTS's for $50k and under are not uncommon. Lowest I've heard for a clean title/clean appearance/no damage was $39k for a high milage (80k) GTS described as "pristine" by the tech who inspected it. But then buying in the dead of winter back east may have helped too. There's more to it than price, at least as important is whom you buy from. Contact the sponsors of this board and ask your local VCA members when you get ready.
