Great idea! Just make sure you get quality vinyl and check around on prices.

I am going to do this soon when I pick up my Viper GTS in a few weeks.

I found this place that will pre-cut and pre-space your stripes so all you have to do is apply them.

You need 8 inch wide stripes and 4 inch spacing.(factory look) I am going with the 25 foot roll just in case I need the extra. I am also going to order the premium Silver Metallic color. Price is 159.00

The silver stripes look great on sapphire.

I had blue vinyl stripes on my rt / 10 and about a year later
they started cracking and looking bad

The vinyl that was used most likely was not 10 year Vinyl. It is about 3 time as expensive but well worth it in the end.
