I tried doing a search first but did not find much

I had gotten a quote from either Haggarty or Grundy last Feb at the Atlantic City Auction but unfortunately I cannot find it or remember which compant it was. They quoted me like 1000 bucks a year if I recall

I would like to hear who you are using and if you are happy with them. I would also love to hear what you are paying if you don't feel like that is too personal. Thanks guys. :2tu:

I pay about $775.00 per year from Grundy with a 55K agreed value policy. There are a few stipulations but it was still half what Geico wanted and Geico would not issue an agreed value policy. I have a clean record, no accidents or moving violations in 25 years. They want every member in your family of driving age to have a separate car, and it's not for use as a daily driver or commuter vehicle. Since mine is just a weekend toy it fits.

Cool, thanks. That must be who I taked to because one of the companies told me they do not cover Vipers and Grundy and Haggarty were right next to each other.

$757.00 a year with an agreed value of 50k. The only stipulation is no more than 6k miles a year. Rally insurance.

You cannot gauge what you would be charged for insurance prices by asking others what they pay a year, can't be done! Everybody is different and rates reflect that. People can tell you what insurance company they have and what coverages they have, they can even tell you what they pay for insurance but it wouldn't do you any good because you are not them. Just call a couple different insurance companies to find the best rate for you.

I agree, at best all you get is a ballpark. I am sure people living in NJ or the City will pay double what I would etc... I have a perfect record and cannot remember when the last time I put a claim is was. I checked Grundy and Hagarty with the latter being a lot more expensive. Also getting a quote from a forum member in the biz. :2tu:

$55/month full coverage with Geico. Multi-car discount. Unlimited mileage. 100,000/300,000 with 500 deductible. '98 RT/10. 45 years old, married, no tickets, living in Missouri. That price even includes emergency road service. The only problem is this is not for stated value so I'm sure if I total it, I'll be screwed. They probably only value it at book value which is probably arounf 35K.

I have full coverage $300K Lia / Property Damge / Uninsured Motorist with $60K full replacement value and $1000 deductable with 1000 mile year for $768

Somehow I think I'm payng too much, especially with 1000 deductable and 1000 mile a year usage.

Can anyone suggest a "reputable" company to compare with.

The company I am with is INFINITY INSURANCE

Here is a question for you guys. I have Geico and I pay like 850 per year. I am assuming my policy is not an agreed upon value policy. So if I get into an accident with my viper and it is totaled, will they give me like $40,000 for my mint 99 RT/10 (7000 miles)? If I have to replace it and find another, I will pay much more than 40,000 for one.

Mine is through Safeco. Unlimited miles and the only stipulation is that it is not my primary vehicle. Safeco gets me a great rate due to my very high credit score. I pay $382 every 6 months.

BTW, watch out for State Farm. They like to be your good neighbor as long as you don't file a claim. I wouldn't insure a dog house through them.

Progressive - $1500 a year. No tickets 24 years old. Multi-car discount.. Viper is listed as secondary car.

Am i getting ripped off? Seems as if everyone else is MUCH lower here?

I was paying $2000 a year but it just dropped to $1500 for 3 year good driver discount..

I had GEICO for over 32 years and never had any problems with claims. After building house and having GEICO Travelers Ins on my old home they were higher on my new home and cars. I am now insured with FARM BUREAU and house ins is 30% less than with GEICO. Also have cars except insured with FARM BUREAU but my collector cars I have insured with Collector Car insurance.
BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT!! They need to OUTLAW all that fine print and put it where you can read it!! :nono:

I am going to call a geico rep and ask them specifically. I will be irate if they offer me $40,000 to replace my car (kelly blue book value). There is no way I will find one in the same condition for 40ish.

You're single and under 25, those are two major strikes in the insurance world. You should see a big drop in your rates next year. Of course, the fact that you know Dave is probably a $500 strike against you. ;)
