No not skiing, rather spending a few hours at the track :headbang: It was a nice sunny day, mid fifties and the track was open at no charge to the local car clubs. So the Colorado Viper club joined in for some hot laps around the Second Creek Raceway. Sadly 2005, will be the last year for the track.

 Some weren't lucky, as we had at least 4 spin outs that morning.

My understanding is that the land the track is on is leased and developers are going to build it out.

May be last year for Second Creek, but there is an effort underway to build a new facility, Colorado Amatuer Motorsports park.

The day at PPIR was sponsored by the Ferrari dealership in Denver. Running with the Viper were all sorts of exotics including Ferrari 328's, 348's, 355's, 360's, 512BB's, TR's, and a couple of race prepared F40's. There was an Elise, assorted Maserati's, and a big Bentley which was amazingly fast. The GTS held up very well against all but the F40's; they were demons, evil to the core and wickedly fast.
