Matt from Lakeland 2001 GTS Yellow (just purchased in Ga) 12.5 or 12.6 Stock, Smooth tubes, K&N, Cat back

Chuck Babel left early

Antonio C. From Italy.. Didn' run... bad pulley???

Fuelman Orlando 2001 GTS Creampuff 11.6 ran down dragstrip with A/C on , then back hatch open, then pass. window open

2Fast4U South Fl. Ran no post times ...(runs on closed track in evenings for $$fun)

Cudaman Bradenton-One co 10.92 missed 4 th gear then smoked clutch and after getting it in gear, ran 10.92 with clutch slipping at 113mph.

Larry Macedo ran encouragement

Mike from Ga. left Viper @ Larry's to do mods but was at track all evening

Rained heavy 2 hrs & 1 hr before track opened (probably washed VHT off track) 1/2 of my runs were sideways for first 150 ft. Track people were great.... they let park at front of stagging area... (looked killer). Whenever we started up Vipers they would cut us ahead of everyone else. Let us stay late after track closed .... to do tuning on one of the Vipers.
Steaming hot ...very humid ... conditions beyond anyone's control ! Everyone running their Vipers had a great time....it just wasn't our night for fast times. Owner of track (owns (1 1/4 mile & 1 1/8) 2tracks) E-mailed today to ask how everything was. This should be one of our Winter National Viper Drag tracks (we could get lots of local press coverage).Track staff outstanding!

Yep, I had to leave. Larry Macedo was kind enough to tow my Viper from his shop 2 1/2 hours to the dragstrip so it would only be a short trip for me from work. Unfortunately my boss gave me the ride to pick up my RT/10 so I had to get back to work. LOL. I was really planning on making a couple runs. Larry tuned it up nicely.

Gonabite.... sorry not much notice. We will try again. This is a fast track ...Tom Welch and Lee Saunders has run numerous 9's at this dragstrip.

Track is well organized it has air for tires ....3-4 drag fuels: 100 unleaded 104 leaded and 110 or 112 leaded (not sure of leaded fuel because I use unleaded only). Bigger events ( not test & tune) they NOS refills and friendly race oriented staff. Staff trained for EMTs and ambulance at track.

The only problem is our Florida heat.... I read a post about drag racing in Georgia and they were complaining about racing in 42 weather, only if we could be so lucky !!

Keep the drag racing up...... post some of those out West time slips
