What\'s the difference in the stock plug wires compared to the 8.5 mm

I think it's the 8.5 mm...wires I am talking about. besides them looking more meatier and cooler looking..any life advantage? I'm looking to buy a set soon. Anyone have any for sale?

A nice crackling sound in your stereo speakers at low RPMs.

Seriously, they withstand the heat associated with aftermarket headers better than the stock wires.

BUT they really do tend to cause static in your stereo/cd player at low RPMs or light throttle.
