Wheel bearing bolts. 3 or 4 ??

I had my 97 coupe aligned and the mechanic told me that the left front wheel bearing is missing a mounting bolt. I looked and sure enough there are only three bolts holding the wheel bearing to the spindle. So I call the dealer to get another bolt and the parts guy says there are only suposed to be three in the left front,so he suggested not instaling in the fourth. Has anybody else ran into this?

Wheel Bearing Mounting Bolt part #6502136 - 4 Bolts per side!
Tell that parts Dept. to update his Book!
