Just received my Daytona's BBS wheels via UPS (thanks, Bill!), and took the opportunity to weigh them prior to fitment to the car.

Stock 18"x13" rear: 32.3 lbs
BBS LM 18"x13" rear: 29.4 lbs (2.9 lbs lighter)
Stock 18"x10" front: 28.4 lbs
BBS LM 18"x10" front: 25.8 lbs (2.6 lbs lighter)

OK, now how about giving us one of your famous mathematical calculations on how much rotational mass has been reduced.

Or better yet how about some pics!

Mes,
Without knowing the distribution of mass around the centerline of rotation, I cannot state how much the reduction of gross mass in the wheel affects its rotational inertia. The rule of thumb is that a 1.0 lb reduction in wheel mass as the same effect on acceleration/deceleration as a 1.5 lb reduction in mass elsewhere in the vehicle, since the wheel has both kinetic and rorational inertia.

As for pictures, I'll have those later today when the wheels are fitted to the car
