When did the front end change on the Viper???

If you take a look at a 96 GTS and a 02 GTS the front end looks slightly different. When did the front end change and what changes were made? (I did a search on the forum and I couldn't find the answer).

The 96 GTS had more of a lip than the previous RT/10 did. Are you saying that the 96 GTS is different than the 2002?

The hood point by the headlight is very pointed and sharp on the 96-97 GTS. That point is much more rounded on a 2002
