It pours! Got two recall notices in the mail today from DC: Safety Recall Notice on the flickering lights (calls for a body module reprogram), and Motor Vehicle Notification on the cooling fan module. I would say they are trying to save on postage, but they were in separate envelopes...

What fun is that? With winter hitting many parts of the country, it's nice to share what happened in your "Viper Day". In my case, I got the very first correspondence on my SRT-10 today - and BOTH were recall notices. I know all about the recall itself (and then some), but thought it was amusing to finally get some mail from DC - two recalls in one day. Oh and Jon, got the box today - YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

Frank - Haven't heard back from Phil yet, but the plan is to hit Bud Brown Dodge on a Saturday for all the reflashes. I think we have around seven SRT-10's in the club locally. The fan module work may take a little longer...

RAIN!!. Look at the SUNNY side. How would you feel if you got the 2nd letter the day after taking your snake in for the first issue.
It is just as easy to have both issues addressed at the same time.
In addition their is the added bonus of perhaps more free horsepower, as reported on other threads, from the reflash.
In addition it is time for an oilchange. Will get everything done at once. (hope they have the parts).

Not to worry, this doesn't bother me even a little bit. Remember that my precious 2000 GTS had it's guts removed for an Arrow rebuild within the first year of ownership. These little issues are like water off a duck's back. Get it? Rain? Duck? I kill myself sometimes...

The bog isn't part of these two recalls. Reflashing the computer for the lights won't increase the HP. You gotta tell the dealer you want the TSB for the bog done.
