Do Motorcycle Helmets work for the track? Is there a specific brand? Type?

Do an 800 search for OG Racing in Manassas VA, they are the largest Sparco dealer and have a huge Bell selection and great prices.

Jeff make sure you get a SNELL approved helmet. There are many tracks which will not accept DOT helmets, and they do actually check your helmet. There are also tracks which do not allow motorcycle helmets even though they are SNELL approved.

Bill- Were talking autocross here. So I take out a few cones, big deal. It's just so much fun driving with the 3.55 gears. I have no intention of competing (winning) in this event, very green. That's how it starts huh? A little autocross, a little 1/4 mile action, A Viper Day...

A Snell "SA" rating defines automobile racing designed versus "M" designation for motorcycles. "SA2000" is the latest Snell certification, so try to purchase this to keep it "current" for a longer period of time.
