If Both cars are completely stock, that is.
Has anyone driven both cars on the same track on the same day? Any differences in lap times?
I heard that if you do not adjust the adjustable suspension on the acr correctly, that you could end up making the car slower and more difficult to drive on the track. Is that true?
Any opinions?

The driver with the most experience will generally win regardless of relatively minor differences in suspension. I'd like to say ACR hands-down but it just ain't so IMO.

The ultimate advantage of the ACR is that it is adjustable for shock stiffness and ride height. The ACR also has stiffer sprint rates.

Assuming that the proper set up had been accomplished, meaning that the corner weights had been set, and also the shocks adjusted for driver preferenced, I'd bet on the ACR. Without the proper set up, I'd be on the factory setup of the GTS.

I think the ACR would need an experienced driver and some testing time to realize the advantages.

The ACR is about a 2 sec./lap quicker on most tracks. The Koni ACRs (2000.5 and earlier) seem to have much better overall damping/spring rates.
