My brother who owns a Ferrari found this in the net:

While driving up to our vacation house in Lake Arrowhead yesterday, I struck a boulder on a blind turn (a rock any other car would have not even noticed) and it bent the plate that covers the throttle linkage between the front tires. Needless to say the throttle got stuck and I had to pull over. After trying to remember every curse word I knew and trying to guess the proper angle to chuck my damned Nextel cell phone off the mountain because of no signal, a fleet of 15 to 20 vipers parks right next to me on the side of the road. All the drivers got out of the cars and came to investigate. I explained the situation and was about to ask for a lift to a phone when 4 guys had the 308 on JACK STANDS and were climbing under the car to remove the plate. Another guy whips out a mallet and bangs the plate into a flat shape again. They reinstalled it. With a fresh liquid gasket and while were getting ready to drive off, I offered lunch and cash for payment but one guy just smiled and said, "You already paided us back. We got photos of us fixing a Ferrari."

Anybody on the board part of this group? I would love to see the photo :D

That was Matt Lemus' Ferrari. You can find him on Ferrari Chat .com , in the Southern California section.

That happened while the SoCal club was heading up to Big Bear, a mountain resort town. That was a great day.....

If you email SoCal VCA pres. Greg Baxter, he might know who has the photos.

Does anybody have his e-mail? Or if you are on this board could you send me a message so I can get copies of the pictures?

Thanks
