I totally agree. I was 14 when the first gen came out and I fell in love. Now I own one. I can't wait to see what else comes down the pike! Of course maybe I'll start hitting it big at work and move to add an Italian pony to the garage lol

Who needs full dental implants? I want cars :D

he wants a gen 5 viper so his kids and the younger generation can have them to enjoy. To keep the Viper name alive.

Oh thanks for clearing that up. Well then I agree, I'm only 18 and I've been wanting a viper since I was 8 years old. It would be cool to buy one off the dealership. They need to keep building one for my sake haha

Kids today are becoming car nuts at younger and younger ages due to video games. Some of them will grow up to be the vehicle designers, race car drivers, Viper owners of tomorrow. The way I see it, the more car nuts we have, the better chance there is that performance cars stick around, no matter what powers them.

Ahhh...memories. I still vividly remember seeing my first 2 Vipers in person. I see where you're going with this...

My first brand new car out of college was a '86 Shelby Charger Turbo 1 car. That got me hooked on Chrysler.

The first time I saw a Viper was May 1991 at the Indy 500. I never cared about Indy car racing. Whatever floats your boat.... Anyway, I bought a ticket just to see the '91 Viper RT/10 Pace Car and Carroll Shelby driving it. I went back to Indy to see the Viper GTS Pace Car with Lutz driving. I've never been back since.

Funny thing is with introductions of GEN 3 and GEN 4 why didn't we get the Pace Car in 2003 and 2008? It seems every year it's a stinking Chevy. Nothing against the Chevy fans..... well maybe just a little bit. Lets face it... an ACR can mop up the floor with a ZR1.

In the photo I posted, I was starting to take a picture of my car and this little kid runs up with his camera and starts to take a picture of the Vipers. It's probably my favorite Viper picture. "A picture speaks a thousand words."
