Window indexing/body control module

Is there a reflash for the 08 window body control module? Both windows are intermittingly hitting the roof when entering and exiting. Or does the module have to be replaced?

The SRT engineers mentioned same in their recent chat but when I checked with Woodhouse, it did not exist at the dealer level yet. Maybe Mark can post and tell us if there has been any news. As far as I know, the '08 unit is the same as the 03 through 06 unit. There have been many reports of the symptoms you describe. Other cars with the same window/body relationship are having the same type of difficulties.

It is amazing to me that this has been an issue since 2003 and they still haven't corrected it....there are only two types of BCMs out there that control these windows, bad ones and ones that are about to go bad

I feel the real issue may be with the window regulators we are all having problems with. Changing the BCM does not seem to be the answer and until there is a revision of the design we may be stuck with the intermittent issue. There are only a few of these out there so all of the regulators can't be bad. I would have the dealer order a regulator and keep replacing it until the problem is fixed. This will also give Chrysler a trail showing the issues with them.
