Windshield Cost

Got a crack in the windshield of my new Coupe.. Does anybody know what a replacement costs?

Let me know what kind of job Safelite does. Mine too was damaged (a small divot) and they're the company my insurance referred me to. I'm still not sure if it's worth the trouble because of my fears that the techs will scratch something, or worse.

Safelite replaced the windshield in my jaguar which is the glue in type. I offered the installer the use of my sop but he said he was used to working outside in the parking lot. The Job was finished in under an hour. He did a perfect job and I could not tell that the glass had been replaced except that he had cleaned all the windows in the jag.He did recommend letting the Jag sit inside my shop overnight so the adhesive would cure properly.

You are welcome Don. I was very surprised when they did the drivers side window at an earlier date. Yes the Jag seems to have a sign on the glass that says smash me. Anyway Safelite was unbelievable. They took the door apart including all the electronics and wiring and vacuumed up all the glass, every bit of it. When they put it all back together everything worked, no small task on Jaguar wiring. The trim was not damaged ether.
