When I disconnect the battery for the winter, what kind of problems could I expect come spring and I rehook the battery back up (alarm problems more specifically)?

Or move to Southern California and drive all year long

In case of an alarm reset, there should be instructions in your manual on how to fix that.

Love to.
When I see you guys talk about your tax rates or NO tax at all. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about that slant faced SOB that is running our country into the sh!tter.
We need some business people running this country to get the economy going here, not some bleeding heart liberals!
But if you noticed on one of my other posts, I would have to move my business. Which would be almost impossible.
Anyway I shouldn't get started on that slant faced SOB, my wife says I need to watch my blood pressure.
What the hell does our government Know about stimulating an economy, that slant faced SOB, he should be fu..........

Serenity now, serenity now..........

I can't stand that no good for nothin SOB, I wish he would get another strok...............

Sorry. I'll be OK, I think...OH....my...heart....I..think....
VIPER, think GTS, think RT/10 OOOOOKKKKK.
OK my blood pressures back to normal.
Thanks for the advice Makara.
Snake Bitten, I'm looking forward to some of those low test MGD's this winter. I think I need a break.

A) To answer your question.....with a 2000 you should NOT have alarm problems as long as you take out the battery while the car is unalarmed and the door LEDs are not illuminated. Of course, you will have NO ALARM.

Your radio presets go away. Your PCM resets and rough idel results on startup. Alarm MAY act up for no apparent discernable reason, but your year (98+) has a reset switch.

B) You will have far less labor and worries if you just use a (trademark) Battery Tender for about $55. And you can keep the car alarmed if you so desire.........

BigFoot. Slant faced SOB ? Bleeding heart Liberal? Last I read, Bush was still the Pres., so what are you worried about? Hey, his approval rating for an election year is the highest since '54.

Business guy running the country? Oh, I guess old Ross P.would have been a good choice? Ha. And by the way, The Pres. doesn't run the country. We are a representative republic. We elect those who make desicions, and it goes up the line from there. The problem is that to many useless, poorly informed, uneducated slobs vote! Half the voters in this country don't even know who they voted for.

Relax, drive your car.
