It seems to me that you Gen III guys (maybe Gen II guys also? - a GTS with a Gen IV engine sounds sweet!) who spend $20k building up an engine might do better transplanting in a Gen IV unit? No?
With all the "totaled Gen IV" post a year ago, any used GenIV engines out there?

A lot of electronics and PCM work to get the install right.

In order to do this swap you will need all the control modules in the whole car and pedals and wiring harnesses. People have done it but I bet most of these motors are race car transplants so these things are a non issue.
