Wondering If I will have problem getting GTS

[Finally got it !]

Because of the current lease I am in I will not be able to take delivery of my Dream car a 2002 GTS until November 1. Will I have a problem getting one at that point. MY Ideal color pattern is yellow with black stripes, but I probably will have to be flexible. What do you guys think??

Actually, i think you will be right in the prime market for buying an 02 if you get excited you pay top dollar, at the end of the year every dealer is tring to unload their stock and with the srt on the way i think you will be able to buy at least at invoice or below look at current 01 pricing> my.02 cents Jerry

Since every '03 buyer has to own a viper already, there should be a lot of certificate holders trying to unload their old Vipers about that time unless they plan on keeping both Vipers, which I doubt would be the norm. If there are 1500 '03s and 2/3s of the owners get rid of their old Viper, that would put 1000 on the market. I would expect that to keep sales of new '02's low and the price of the GTS/RT-10, new or used, to plummet for a while until the market glut is over.

Or I could be totally wrong....

I would think the GTS's would hold their prices if not increase in value. There are many that do not care for the new SRT-10 and may be interested in the last few years of the GTS rather than settling for the convertible.

Remember, there are around 1500 new Vipers purchased each year. This year will not be any different other than anyone that wants a GTS will now have to purchase a used Viper
