despite my gut feeling, I decided to go with the xenon bulbs (low beam and fog lights)as opposed to the sean roe kit. well, i learned the old lesson "you get what you pay for" yet again. Both fog lamps cracked due to the heat. I do not know how many this has happened to but if you are looking at this aftermarket product, consider the pros and cons. between the cost of the bulbs i ordered and now the replacement parts for the fog lamps, i shouldve just bought sean's kit. Live and learn i guess.

I was going to do the same thing. I wanted to put 130's in fog and headlanps, but Sean told it would melt the lamp covers or worse, So I went with the 85's. Still alot brighter than stock, but the the Xenon HID bulb replacements are no substitute for real HID Xenon headlamps, but at $530 less it will work for now.

yeah, the Piaa Super whites work well. The others..get too hot and will burst or will melt your wires to your light.

Doc....... Was it the lamp housing cracked? Or the bulb?

Checking my records, you got those $99/4 bulbs via PartsRack, so free replacement bulbs are on the way. I will also upgrade to the cooler PIAA fog bulbs no charge. Or a refund, you choice. ADVISE?

PS: When handling these bulbs, do not allow 'fingerprints' on the bulb. Ie don't touch w/ bare fingers. They can cause the bulbs to fail prematurely. We have long-term installs since 1997.
PIAAs are more bluish-Euro look. Still a great value
