Just watched the coverage of the formal introduction of merging ALMS together with GRAND AM. Its been in the works for six months now but its official for 2014 starting with the 24 hours at Daytona and then Sebring. There is no official new name yet but they did mention a possible 12 race season. No word yet on which classes of cars will be combined. Its obvious this is for more combined fans and selling seats but now we will have the very best of both series and drivers together as one. Cannot wait now for the 2014 24 hour at Daytona and more news ahead.
