Any recommendations on a low cost unit for use with a Viper?
5-10 secs to read and 5-10 secs to erase. It works well but like stated above it will only do those 2 things. Are you going to want to do more than simple read and reset?
As in LTFT etc?
Just curious, about how long does it take to read and then erease a typical code?
Thanks. The reason I asked is that I have Sean's (Roe) reader and it takes a good 2 minutes to cycle through the codes before erasing. Not a bid deal, but often I'd just like to pull the code and continue on my way rather than having to wait a few minutes to cycle through the codes 3-4 times. The code comes up almost instanteously when you plug in a typical unit. Erasing it occurs just as quick as you can push the correct sequence of buttons. Now diagnosing and correcting the problem....
