Just purchased the 02 RT 10 and trying to get insurance. I have a 26 year old son that I would like to have on the policy as well. The car will be driven like a collector car just enjoyment in good weather and not a ton of miles.
Haggerty asked so many questions and then told me under no circumstances could anyone drive the car except for my wife and I. Bought the car so we could have fun with it together my son and I. Does anyone have insurance that would allow this? If so please share name and number with me.
Thanks everyone!

This doesnt surprise me...

When i had Nationwide, anyone was allowed to drive it,
but there was no agreed upon value and my monthly
rate was just under $400.

Collector Polices tend to be horrifically limited - my current
policy through PHLY allows me unlimited miles, but i need
a daily insured with another carrier, the car must be kept
in a locked garage, and i am not allowed to drive it to work...
Other carriers have limits on miles, being allowed at a track
allowing the car to be used in filming of any kind, who
drives it, even for cruises and parades - you REALLY need
to look at the fine print, most "Agreed Upon" policies wont
even pay the full agreed price under certain conditions.

I have Hagerty but not so cheap for me. Perfect driving record, live in a high population area of SC, $60,000 agreed value, my cost is approximately $1300 annually. I do have high coverage...$300,000 for most incidents. Maybe that's why the cost is high in my opinion. Drive a 2002 RT/10.

So I am about $400.00 with an agreed value of $80,000. I'm in a rural area.
