Are you rebuilding the water pump or just swapping the impeller?

This should help. Going to drain and fill the system a couple times with tap water. Flush with deionized. Any suggestions on conventional coolant.
The peak global lifetime or the or zerek G05? Both seem like winners.
Might smear a little gray rtv/hondabond on the gasket prior to install.
I've been using dexcool in mine for over 6 years. change it every 2 years. Its essentially Mopar orange, even says it works with newer Dodges on the bottle. This should help. this. Either RTV or gasket. I never get why people use both. Both work better alone imoI've been using dexcool in mine for over 6 years. change it every 2 years. Its essentially Mopar orange, even says it works with newer Dodges on the bottle.
Get some cometic aluminum core gaskets. No need for RTV.
This is exactly what I did, except I used the FlowKooler impeller. Better than new. Now's a good time to try something. I have thought about purchasing a Gen 1 pump with metal impeller and pressing out the impeller and bearings to "rebuild" my Gen 2 pump.
Anyone ever done this and been successful?
Why not just buy a billet impeller? Now's a good time to try something. I have thought about purchasing a Gen 1 pump with metal impeller and pressing out the impeller and bearings to "rebuild" my Gen 2 pump.

I've got my old gen 2 pump, so I may give this a shot.
