Go to the Richmond Gear website and you will find your info there. Why a 3.75 gear? So you have any or plan on any mods, if so this will be to much gear for the car you may want a 3:54 or a 3:45 if you plan on being in the 600 RWHP range. Just food for thought.
Mike your sig says upstate NY are you still there or did you move? I was looking forward to seeing you at Watkins Glenn this may
Yes I did move to Florida I guess I hae to change my sig., congrats on buying the Viper, you now have the power my son!
Mike,
My car a Watkins Glen ran at less then 190 all day with Seans S/C, as for the drag reacing you are looking at mid 10's at 133 mph if not more! Go for the S/C MIKE!!!!
Re: My Heffner\'s Performance Supercharger System PICS
Does the car run hot with that huge intercooler in front of the radiator? Looks nice. How much power will you be looking at?
Can you do a dyno pull before the S/C so we can see the actual increase in power. I am considering porting my heads and going with the 8lb pulley as well. You will definetley enjoy the Roe S/C system as it is a quality unit and looks great as well. Have fun!!
2MANYTOYS,
I would go with the B&B system it is a very nice (LEAK FREE) system. Do a search on Belanger and you will see many thread on leaking exhaust from this system. For headers I would definetley go with B&B, from the cats back is more a personal choice on sound level and looks...
Yeah for short auot x events no problem, but for heavy duty high hp threshold breaking I have cracks in each and every rotor,(and no they did not warp just cracked).
They will work well for the street mostly just an asthetics upgrade no real improvement on stopping power. With them on my car and track use I cooked them they are cracked at every drilled hole, they sure were not meant for track use.
I put the car on the dyno for the second time with the Roe S/C system and for the first time with the VEC 2. The results were between 2000 and 3400 rpm I picked up anywhere from 5-20 hp and 10-30 ft lbs of torque. Between 3400 and 3900 there were really no changes to speak of. Then from 3900 to...
Well as I had posted previously on the prototype VEC 2 installed on my car on how well it ran Sean got some of the units in yesterday. Today he was doing some quality control testing on the units, wiring harnesses, and smart cards. He invited me over to once again install the VEC 2 on my car...
Sounds like you have a road racing tire on those wheels, the side wall will not be soft enough for draging, you will want to us the ET Streets, call John Purner about the wheel setup you have so that you can get the correct tire for the wheels.
The aspect ratio of a 20 in. tire will not be a 3 in. difference though, so yes it will change and you will in effect drop your rear drive ratio to what I do not know, never was that good in math, but your 1/4 mi.times with the 20 in wheel and tire setup would make your car slower.
I have ordered from Jon twice nothing big,nor should the size of your order dictate the kind of service you get as some people seem to feel. Only once did I actually get any products that I ordered, even though they were the wrong ones. The second time was the last time I ordered, when nothing...
CitySnake,
93 is a real number thats what I had in my car yesterday. Coming from NY where Sunoco sells 94 I am now here in FL and they don't sell 94 so I have no choice.
Well like many other owners of the Roe supercharger I have had my drivability problems. Until today this morning prior to a VCA meeting I went to Sean's shop and we removed the protype VEC 2 from Sean's car and put it on mine all of which took less than 30 minutes easy install. We used the same...
Simply answer to TONY's mph if you take a naturally aspirated car with 625 hp and a nitrous supplied car with the same dyno numbers the nitrous car will have more mph. Why I don't know maybe someone can explain that.
Well NY is now one viper less. I have finally had enough of the cold and snow in NY, so I moved to Florida. The day before I left NY we had 22 inches of snow one last kick in the but. Now I can enjoy my car 12 months a year here in Jacksonville and save on the shipping charges from Sean Roe, now...
there is no problem with a 03 getting into the mid 11's we dynoed my friends 03 stock and came up with 395 RWHP corrected SAE which is way over there advertised output his was one of the first produced and since then then numbers have been coming down. By spring he will have all of the above...
Tony,
Sean Roe is working on a programing soloution, wait a couple of weeks and we shall have some results! The final outcome should be better than anything that is on the market as of now.
