I seriously hope that SRT takes this as a challenge and unlike the past with the ACR adds a substantial amount of power to at least have a chance against whatever GMs supercar will be in a couple of years.
SRT are you paying attention or are your heads buried in the sand?
I have owned both cars and modified both. I think you have the cars reversed when it comes to modifying them and compromising reliability and throwing serious money at them. The ZR1 is a forged motor the viper is not. You add a couple of pulleys to the ZR1 and an intake with headers and for...
Can we see some SAE corrected dyno numbers? Why would you post STD numbers? Everyone knows that they are either over inflated or under inflated depending on the atmospheric conditions for that particular day.
The only price that is firm is for the base Viper, which will be 99K, this from the mouth of a very reliable source who we the
viper community know and trust. The comment after that was pricing has not been finalized on options and it will be a few months. I only say reliable source because I...
You saw? Where? I didn't see, I was told at the reveal the base SRT-10 will be 99K and that adding any one option will bring it over 100K. That being said I was also told that further pricing of options added has not been decided as of yet and wont be released for a few months.
I don't think I would exactly call red classy. However I wish they stuck with the 96 and 06 coupe release colors. Blue w/ white. If they wanted to retain the 'look' then thats what would have been done. Either way beautiful car just looks much better in the two colors that were posted ArnarFB IMO.
Good god, why did they release that car in red? Thank you so much for the colors!!! It looks awesome in blue and graphite. Can you color the grill with those color choices please.
Jon, I def agree that you will need to add options but the guy who just wants a Viper bare bones thats what he or sheis loooking at. Me personally I am going to wait a year or two and see what options are added if any. More power, SMG, or may even bite on a ACR I have always had a passion for...
We have Gen 3 cars with cast internals making over 800HP. The problem with this car is going to be engine calibrating. No one has beat the rolling codes in the 11 and up Dodge products yet. This ECU may be even more advanced, so if that can get taken care of by the time this car is reality the...
Jon, a base SRT 10 with tax in NYS plus gas guzzler tax assuming high side 3K would put the car out the door at 111K. However I agree pick it up used less than a year old and no gas guzzler tax and a little deprecitaion.
Nice job Paolo according to these figures 1/4 mile times should improve as well and we should see some nice mid 10 sec. stock cars here finally. With a decent driver of course.
X10 on the VERY MANY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE WHO COULDN'T SHUT THE F' UP!!!!!!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES AT THE VERY LEAST.
On a good note Ralph and SRT awesome awesome job for a great night. Thank you so much.
I was told that the " SRT 10 version would be under 100K and by that meaning 99K and change, with that being said any one option added it will be over 100K". There was no info given on what a fully optioned GTS would be. And to be honest I didn't even ask I was shocked that I got the under 100K...
So did anyone ask when the price would be released? I did. Was told by two people that is would be in 2-3 months. Also was told where the SRT non GTS version would come in at. Was very surprised at what they will be starting at.
