The OEM parts catalog for the U.S.A. model ⁰1996 R/T 10 PCM shows a part number for this JTEC module as 4763 639

You might want to call Brian Jones at Jones Auto Inc. in Orleans, Indiana. Brian is a good dude, rebuilds Vipers himself, and has a well cataloged parts inventory that is staggering when seen in person.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for a quicks follow-up.
The part #05012798 I have is written on the PCM when it was reprogrammed by a local Dodge dealer in PA in 1998. Sounds like it was an upgrade from the original 047... and 048... parts.
As you probably know 1996 RT/10 is an unusual model year. So parts are sometimes unique.
I will definitely reach out to Brian and post the feedback here.

I am wondering if it was reprogrammed for Mods? Or is your car stock? I might have one, but I really don't want to sell it for obvious reasons. 3 other options:

1.-call Todd at 800.338.4002
2.-Havik Performance is playing with standalone systems for the Gen 1, talk to Michael.
3.................................... as tough as this is............ see if VSP has an extra PCM he wants to sell.

It's all about helping the Viper people.

Thanks for the followup, gizmoxman. That makes sense. Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

While I don't do Facebook, you might consider putting your need on the 3 major sites for wider exposure...VOA, VO Group, and VCA.

Man, that must have been *really* hard for you to post. My favorite part is where you list me as the 3rd source, under duress... when you know damn well I am the only one on that list who can absolutely, 100%, for sure, supply that module... like all the others.

Its almost like you're still butt-hurt.

Kinda surprising that after all these years, people still aren't aware of what I do other than all of the vendors I supply. Maybe I need to start spamming the boards constantly, it seems to work.

OP,

If you couldnt tell from my off-beat humor above towards 'ole Mikey...

No problem to supply that. None. Literally have three of them in process sitting next to me on the shelf that are already scheduled for sealing.

And don't fall for the misinformed opinion of some sellers that you can run a 1996 GTS PCM or anything else. Fundamentally different modules- the 96 RT is a total 1-off.
