Mark - just put me down for one of the first Gen V ACR's. Money is in the bank.
The only condition is that it has to look as bad ass as my 08 ACR or better (that condition is from my wife of 46 years).

That could be true; however, my ZR1 had all the nannies to protect the driver and some still pushed the car beyond those limits.
They are painted. I couldn't find two replacements when I smacked a curb so I bought two polished ones and had them painted. You can't tell the difference.
It's interesting in discussion about the price.
SRT is now for the most part a stand-a-lone entity and must be profitable.
Based on all the improments made in the Gen V it is still a bargain. I paid $125,000 for a ZR1 about four years ago. I didn't have to and had I waited even longer it...

Yeah, I don't like the side marker lights and I don't like it on my Fiat 500 Abarth. Several Abarth owners are blacking out those side lights:
