Sweet. Didn't they run that at Road Atlanta last year, for the Petit? I think someone was running the 'viper exchange' car here. I'll look for the pic.
Thanks for the fyi!
steve
Thats right, forgot about that button on the switch. Thats probably the most important step to removing the dash.... thx
When you spray your dash from a spray can. It looks like it was painted with a spray can, I didn't want that look.....sorry.
good luck!
Why not order a new autoform double bubble, they come with the hard windows and a stand for the hardtop when not in use. I'm ordering one in the next couple weeks myself!!
Around $3000- $3200 delivered.
It takes 4-6 weeks for them to delivery (they have to build it)....fyi.
good luck
It was easy to remove, I cleaned all the gray stuff off with oven cleaner. I had body shop paint it, I went with Black satin. Body shop charged me about $200. Whiched looked to be about what they charged everyone else. Good luck. I have more pics if needed, I took this from this thread...
Before checking the compression, what can be disconnected, so the engine doesn't fire when i'm turning it over... when doing the compression test?
thx
I just found this post, if others may need help later...
Wait till Saturday night, with the beer flowing, those prices will really go up!!! Saturday nights, compared to Sunday mornings, big differences!
"I bought what last night...........for how much?"
Yeah, thats pretty cool. Wish I could get that for mine...
I noticed, while drooling over the pic's, the steering looks out of align. In the photos, the wheels look straight, but the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left.
this is something I have on my list to do, but didn't know if other viper owners would accept it or like it (know what i'm trying to say?). i've never seen anyone talk about it, and never seen it done before.
but with the lines of the car, I think it would look awesome. I find it hard to...
If it is corrosion, or whatever, I think I'd get in there with a wire brush and a grinder to clean it all out now, the best I could and spray with primer and paint... before it gets worse.
Dog, Scott and All,
Last night I verified all connection to each of the injectors, everything was fine, started the car, let it run. (didn't drive it...raining) it got up to normal operating temp, I played with the connections (car still running), nothing would back out to...
I just bought some Champion plugs, the Dodge dealer had them for less than $2/piece. Walmart didn't have the correct model number plug, but there Champions were selling for $1.30-$1.50/piece.
Eww, Thanks for all your info, I will keep that in mind. I can't wait to get all this behind me, (changing the fluids, tune up, alignment) so I can drive the car on long trips, and not have to worry about not making it.
Are you new to this site? I
Yeah, correct. I can see it being possible, its not like these connections snap on good and tight when seated (at least on my car). I can't wait to get home tonight and check this out. I just wish it wasn't so milky out. The wx here has been nasty the past few days, its 60 now, and I'm...
Thats exactly what it feels like, with the skipping. I have gone thru all the plugs and unplugged/reseated. But never really thought about them vibrating loose again, to loose the contact. I can totally agree with this. I'll go back thru them again.
Thanks so much!!
Its at least one year old, the battery feels strong, there is no lag when starting, even if the car sits for a week. I drive the cars at least once a week, bring them up to normal operating temp, then return them to there designated parking spot. : )
To answer the question, I'm guessing 3-5...
