    Dash needed - 96 rt10

Sorry for your trouble. If you can't fix yours, try Brian Jones at Jones Auto in Orleans, IN. He's a good guy, has rebuilt Vipers, and has a lot of parts.

I need help with 2 issues

One wonders if there is an internal short inside the reset switch...thus preventing the alarm from engaging.

    Battery maintainer/tender?

Group 34 flooded lead acid...not an AGM.

    2000 Dodge Viper RT10

I would suggest that you start with the easy things: Check to see if the large nut on the positive terminal under the hood is tight...but, if loose, don't overtighten it for fear of breaking that post. Next, check the large black plug that enters the outboard side of the driver's toe box. This...

Need advice on '02 GTS for sale

All good points,Dean. That said, there are a few low mileage, non-tracked, never-in-rain, no-accident-history Vipers here that are not quite that pristine. It could be that the last owner detailed the underside as some folks do. Buyer has a good plan...Roanoke is a great place. If car is...

Need advice on '02 GTS for sale

As GTS Dean says, it looks way too clean underneath...a typical "broker move" in my opinion. I would look very carefully at the frame and suspension on a lift...as well as the radiator surround area. With rare exception, I would expect you to spend another $6,000 to $10,000 to bring this age...

Areas of SRT to inspect during purchase

"It isn't nearby me so I can't inspect it though." This seems to be a fairly common mindset. But, considering the price one is likely to pay for a Viper, airfare sounds cheap. Best of luck in your quest.

Gen 4 ball joint and control arm question

The many years of parts lists were posted here over a decade ago...in the Illustrated Upgrades section. Sadly, that seems to have disappeared. I would suggest that you visit the parts desk at a CJDR dealer and view their computer screen to be certain.

Gen 4 ball joint and control arm question

Per the 2008 Parts Listing...the rear upper control arms are interchangeable...Part Number...05290117AB As you know, the rear lower control arms are not interchangeable.

2006 Dodge Viper Coupe dead battery/security sytem reset

It's not that complex in the later Gen Vipers. Once the fuel system serviced and the engine has been fogged, rotated by hand, etc...and, it is deemed safe to attempt a start ( by experienced, reliable mechanic), hook up the battery in the Viiper and try the unlock button the fobs and you...

1995 Viper New Battery - starts fir a few seconds and dies!

As I just finished posting on another forum, give me a call. 317 402 9013. Hopefully, it is due to the alarm system...and, not a dying fuel pump. The factory published alarm reset should only take a few minutes with a little luck.
