I am new to the forum, but it did not take long to see that you are a valuable sort of information and have been very helpful to members of the forum.
Here is my saturation. As I said it my first post, I bought a 1993 Viper new and still have it with 8900 miles on it. I put on about 300 miles a year in the summer and it is stored in a heated garage. It has never been driven in wet or cold weather ( I live in Wisconsin near Mpls/ St Paul).
Somehow 30 years have slipped by and it was not until I took it in for it pre-winter servicing ( which I have done every year, Ch/dodge dealer ) and found out how difficult it was to get new tires that I realized that the car was 30 years old. So I joined the forum and club, starting reading posts. I was totally ignorant of the success of the viper, the cult following, racing, problems and most importantly the difficulty of getting parts.
It was at this point that I decided this Spring I was go into FULL MAINTENACE MODE and PARTS PROCEUREMENT MODE. I purchase a set of Viper Service manuals to start with.
I would like to get in contact with you to get your suggestions has to a preventative maintenance program and anything else that should be considered to keep this vehicle in the excellent shape.
I see that you prefer direct communication. Here is my email [email protected] If you would email me, I would give you a more detailed explanation of what I am interesting in finding out what to do. We could then go from there.
Thanking you in advance for considering my request.
