2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

Assuming that all was well before you explored the TPM, it seems to me that "something is not hooked up"...or, is not making complete contact. I have seen connectors that did not fully lock on our 03 after a behind-the-dash procedure...i.e. airbag module replacement.

I reread you post: Have you tried to jump clutch safety switch?

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

The quickest way is to swap #10 (ASD fuse) with #11(CIG LGT)

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

Look at ASD 1 fuse...can swap with lighter. Common unexpected issue with Gen III's. If this is it, easy fix...noting that it would likely be a coincidence and not a consequence of your exploratory dash experience. You can also swap ASD relay with another unnecessary system relay as a second...

    Noisy 97 GTS tranny

MOPAR ATF+4 in 1 quart bottles is part number 68218057AC per the latest dealer chemical catalog. The number you listed ( 68218058AA) is for MOPAR ATF+4 in the 5 Liter container...noting that the "AA" is now "AC". I have yet to switch out our 97's fairly fresh Dexron III.

2000 Viper turns over - wont start P1389 Code

PCM provides ground for ASD relay which in turn provides battery voltage to heated O2 sensors. I still suspect your O2 sensor wires given the headers. You can google testing procedures for these sensors...but it may be time to call Tom Sessions who is just down the coast from you in Hampstead.

How do you unlock the door w/o a fob?

BYAIC, with all due respect, I have NO intention of sharing information concerning the workarounds for the various Viper locking and alarm systems in an open forum...for the obvious reasons. I am willing to share said info on an individual basis verbally...and do so many times a week...

Battery Dead - Want am I in for?

Save yourself some grief and get an AGM battery in Group 34 size (top terminal) with a good warranty...such as Interstate MTZ or an Odyssey. Keep car on a battery tender and consider using "hibernation mode" when not on a tender.

2001 Viper RT/10 Driver Side Auto Door Lock

Should be on the door stanchion...a lever that you pull downward that pops door open when lever reaches horizontal. If you need a pic, call me at 317 402 9013 and I will send one to your phone...since Ido not post pics on forums. Unfortunately, some doors that had "interventions" have been...

2001 Viper RT/10 Driver Side Auto Door Lock

I would explore the wiring by the door hinge first...very common to find wire fractures here. Next would be the switch. By the way, have you checked the emergency door release?

    Mopar Pcm install

The good news is that the long installation program was initially designed to be done by a StarSCAN...with wiTECH being added later. Both the StarSCAN and the early wiTECH devices were free standing (the wiTECH required a laptop computer)...they could be used off line. A few years ago, the...

Purchasing help between SRT or ACR

Short version of an old fart's (me !!) opinion: Buy exactly what you really want when it is feasible. I would not suggest building up a clone on a lesser model as it is unlikely that you will be able to sell it as easily or for as much money as if it was an OEM ACR-E. Best regards !

    Where to purchase?

Those came from JonB at PartsRack several years ago. They fit Gen III and Gen IV Vipers. After the fronts were introduced,, rears were added. They were well made, not cheap, and sold out a long time ago. Of course, you could still make an inquiry...who knows what may transpire??!!!

Going to look for our first Viper (Gen 3) this weekend. Need some advice.

For clarification, my warning for a new Viper driver revolved around caution when accelerating hard in first gear, as well as remaining cautious on the 1st to 2nd gear shift...noting that indeed at 1600 rpm there is already over 400 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. A couple of my Regional...
