NOT TRUE! Please read several other reviews, where throttle-lag is virtually gone, throttle responsiveness both on and off throttle are much improved. The "crisp, snappier feel" is exactly that. A more 'precise' throttle feel and tachometer response.
Exactly, Red... The PCM has several clear 'throttle' and other advantages for modified Vipers and for track-rats, and the 10-15HP / TQ is just a bonus. You GOTTA like a company and the guys that make that item available for "Off Road Use." I was sorry to see the Gen 2 Mopar PCM go...
CAAP is one answer.............
Dodge EV concept from a while back is the other answer.... I think a Tarp-money seeking Cerberus guy drove it to DC a while back?
Since the poster is from the UK, where the electricl current probably differes from my US-Centered knowledge, there may be a similiar device in UK...................
"Battery Tender" is often used as a synonym for ANY low-voltage trickle-charger device that charges a battery.... Not All...
COMMON PROBLEM. One hint: you can just swap the E-pads, inner-to-outer, outer-to-inner, but do it BEFORE they are too far gone.
And track rats can extend a full set of E-pads into TWO inner pad changes. = 50% of cost.
But waiting til the (hidden) inside e-pad is metal-to-metal can be...
Congrats David! Dodge Viper Cup gets a #43 Car. RICHARD PETTY! Gotta get Meatball #43 from NARRA/DVC
Versus Tom is gonna love the "Petty Car"
PS: Put in a Classified Ad to sell your 18-19 OE PS2 Tires with NO miles on em...... you wont need em...
See you at DVC, and "Dont Pass...
Ernie, ...... mis-matched tires on a Viper CAN be hazardous if you have to 'go evasive' in an emergent situation. The fronts now grip, brake, and turn MUCH differently than your Rears do....And some mis-matches can be much worse than others.........Please Be Careful !
Glad U like the Viper Stamps! Been doing that for 3+ years or so, several different pix. This is a U.S.Postal Service product. You can Make Your Own, with your own pix, at http://photo.stamps.com/Store/
You dont have to buy from flea-bayers or zazzle.....
USPS offer YOUR pix on pages of...
I have NOT read the whole thread, but I assure you the SUBJECT LINE of your thread is misleading.
1) There is something WRONG with the car: Mechanical, tires, or alignment issues. Or all 3. Salvage Title?
2) There is something wrong with the observer.....not likely with your...
Bill, not to pick-nits, but I am pretty sure that the STANDARD 99-02 ACR was without the "Comfort Group". The Gen 2 ACRs were "down and dirty." If you wanted AC and Radio, the dealer had to ADD that option. More than a few unskilled dealers FORGOT to order the "ACR Comfort Group" and...
THANKS MUCH for sharing that! I even printed the GTS Coupon, and suggest any nit-picky 96 GTS owners do the same. "Got Docs?" was a great VM article by Maurice a while back, and that doc is part of 96 GTS Hisstory. That "coupon program" was both loved by we Gen 1 NEW car owners, but hated by...
PAY ATTENTION to the rear-hatch on G-4-Coupe 'unlatching' itself, rattling or popping noises. There is a brand-new TSB on this very issue on Gen 4 COUPES. Posted elsewhere just last week. SEARCH? [I cannot edit my posts, so cannot add a link.]
WHAT THE HELLo is WRONG WITH ME?
Yesterday, a new guy posts a Red GTS photo.... today, a G4 ACR photo. I had to look at both, even with sloooow internet. There have been many others, almost every week. I have owned 15+ Vipers since 1993, and I STILL GOTTA LOOK!
IF I had all the...
Single-Chime alerts are USUALLY accompanied by an amber cluster display for low tire, seatbelt, airbag sensor (stuff in Right seat?) etc. Just for the heck of it, check all your tire pressures?
Congrats on attaining a boyhood dream, a rare thing these days. You definitely sound like a "WORTHY" Owner.1) Yellow Vipers attract Waaaaaay more bugs than other colors. FACT. Bugs think you are a sunflower-dandeline smorgasbord.2) Your "Two-handed-Driver" comment is telling in that you...
Im glad to see a 'reasonable cop' thread....and a STATE Cop at that. There are MORE than we get to read about. Your attitude must have been 100% perfect.
Make it a Valentine One..... the ARROWS are the key...
Compare Pulleys: Plastic, Shimmed Steel, or Billlet Alum. Do The Bracket too. That is a duhhhh choice. SEARCH the topic and you will see gobs of info on this

Ken: If your winged deck is falling/sinking, adding the HD struts will stop that; but they also might overpower the OE adhesive! Not Broke, Dont Fix....
Again, the TSB investigation revealed rare incidente of 2008-2010 Coupes, regardless of ACR, Aero, or not. We are taking dozens of...
Rapid: I agree with you!
But a rut-following, twitchy Viper is a result of ALIGBNMENT and TIRE CHOICE. Every Viper I have owned quickly becomes a 3-finger-driver after a performance alignment; And I ditch old, hard tires before they ditch me. {Glad I could keep my S-TT for winters}...
Would also appear sooner on ARY-Aero-pacakge coupes, but the 'adhesive issue' has involved Gen-4-non-aero, none ACR
