    trunk wont open with key fob

    THE YEAR MATTERS 1999-2002 ACR have a cable-release 2008-2010 have an unlock-only, as noted. Just like the car doors, they unlock but dont pop open. BE CAREFUL. Open/ Close slowly..there have been 12+ cases of hatch-back strut blowouts, Gen 4 have stronger struts.....
