trunk wont open with key fob

its doesnt have the option- under deck switch only- 08 and up- if its older dont no

You wouldn’t want it to work with Fob anyway. That trunk and wing swing up very high . I could just picture hitting the button by accident and it opens at a time that the car is parked with something above. (open garage door etc)

As stated above you don't want the Fob to open the rear hatch. Pressing the Fob buttom merely unlocks so you can manually open.

THE YEAR MATTERS

1999-2002 ACR have a cable-release

2008-2010 have an unlock-only, as noted. Just like the car doors, they unlock but dont pop open.

BE CAREFUL. Open/ Close slowly..there have been 12+ cases of hatch-back strut blowouts, Gen 4 have stronger struts.....

Nope doesn't work, none of them do with the key fob but there is a black button above the license plate under the deck lid you can press to open

As others have already said, I have an 08 ACR and all the key fob does on the trunk is unlock it. It doesn't release it.

Keep in mind this is on the 08 Coupes and ACRs, it does work on the convertibles. Weight was an issue, so after 2006 , the Coupes no longer functioned the same as the verts.
