    Street tires

Goodrich puts out some pretty nice grippy, quiet autocross tires. G-Force Rival S. A kick on mountain roads and general driving too. Wear? Donno.

    Low Coolant In Overflow??

I gotta chime in here. Why not just fill the overflow bottle thru the pressure bottle as instructed in the owner's manual? Seems much more simple than the turkey baster method. Curious, SS

Hey Tom, That's quite a pile of road trip credentials. At that time I was driving my 2000 RT around Carson. Too bad we never crossed paths. Now I'm in my 2002 RT and lovin' every minute. My post has hooked me up with another Viper guy in Reno so it worked out and he discovered a 2017 ACR around...

    Power window switches?

According to my 2002 RT10 shop manual the pins are different on right and left so can't change things around. You need that left switch. Maybe just a shot of contact cleaner would get things back in order. Worth a try. JonB might have one or on the Bay.

    Dodge Viper stereotypes and sayings

I was going to restore a 1970 Dodge Coronet RT ragtop back in 2000. It would have cost 50K to do it right. I thot to myself for 50K I could get a nice Viper. So I stepped into the 21st century and bot a 2000 RT10. Drove that for 10 years and sold it. Instant seller's remorse. Three years later...

Keeping new Viper owners SAFE - a How To:

Good thread. I got my warnings off my first visit to the VCA site years ago.....and applied them, most of them. I still drove on the original Michs (plenty of tread) on first 2000 RT10 w/1700 miles bot in 2003. Got frisky one time and broke the rear loose, but it snapped right back when I got...

    Alpine removal

Yeh, I've got the service manual for mine too. Same illustration. I even made some hooks to grab the screw tabs. Wouldn't budge. I just wanted to get it operable, I don't listen to it. Why would I diminish the exhaust notes? Left channel doesn't work so I thot checking the deck would be the easy...

    Alpine removal

Hi, Anyone know how to get the Alpine deck out of a 2002 RT10. Bezel's off, 2 screws out, but it's fighting me. Barely moves and I don't want to force it. Thx, SS

Pic of stock alpine stereo rear gen 2

Thot I might add: if you decide to remove bezel assy it pops off pretty easily. I think the pix show you the clip points....2 on top, 2on the bottom sides in the window switch area and 2 in the center of the ash tray- shifter plate. The corners nearest the driver and passenger are held down with...

Pic of stock alpine stereo rear gen 2

Here's a thread that might help pictorially for access etc. The Mopar # is 04763982AB for the deck. Might find that somewhere on the net with a pic. Good luck: http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/663872-IPod-with-the-Stock-Alpine-head-unit-on-GTS

    2002 center console removal

Hmm, hate breaking stuff. Sounds plausible tho. Moot point now, console got away from me, so unless I find another cognac NOS console I'll stick with what I have which really ain't that bad. Just chasing perfection. Happy traiils y'all.

    Reno drivers

Well keep driving it. I couldn't have one of these and not drive it. I guess maybe some people are trying to keep the miles off hoping to make some $$$ someday. Who knows. I don't have that kind of time so I drive, but I do like to keep it pristine. These things are fabulous on mtn roads...

    2002 center console removal

Hi, It's hard to tell, but it looks like your handle's almost str8 up. Mine won't go past 45 degrees. It's that difference in angle that kills me. No matter what I did I couldn't get the console to clear. Funny mine's cognac too.

    2002 center console removal

Hard to believe nobody's posted any console removal threads. Search didn't find any. I tried to remove mine today in my 2002 RT10 and got as far as the actual removal. Did all the screw, the bezel, the knee panels, but the brake handle brought everything to a halt. Ya can't get the console over...

    Reno drivers

Hi folks, Just curious, does anybody in Reno actually drive their Vipers? I'm out in mine all the time during the season. Just short local runs, but I've only seen 2 in all the years I've been doing that. I've seen Ferraris, Lambos even a McLaren. They're not bashful. H.A.N. is canceled this...

Am I the only one who likes Cognac interior???

You're the best combo winner, Sapphire. I almost ended up with one, but it was in NC. Got too complicated. I'm happy with my graphite. Cheers.

Am I the only one who likes Cognac interior???

Ditto what Dexter says, graphite metallic 2002 RT10 w/cognac 1 of 43. My 2000 steel grey was cognac too. Great combo.

Tracking down a car jack for a gen 1 Viper?

If you don't want to pay the Viper Tax a boneyard will have a lot of old Chryslers that have almost the same jack for $5-10 bux.
