It's understood "easy fix" is ALWAYS BS. Same with easy resto. They're expecting 10-12 ft in the mountains and 2-3' on the valley floors on top of the 2' we already have. Probably'll kill the snow blower this year. AT
Just wanted to hear from other Viper owners that find their favorite ride suddenly restricted to the garage. We've had 2 big storms here and it'll be spring before the Snake comes alive. I'm keeping the battery tender on it and plan to back it out to keep the lube working and let it warm up...
\'99 RT10 on Ebay
For you "gotta have forged pistons" guys, Sarasota Jag just put their silver'99 RT10 on Ebay again. With the cognac interior it's really striking. Check it out. With 3' of snow my Snake's in cold storage. Winter sucks. :(
OK let me see if I've got this straight: every Muslim is a terrorist, all these people man, woman and child deserved what they got, God somehow ochestrated this diaster to punish Muslims and figured why not take out 1000's of Hindus while he's at it (must be having a hell of an argument with the...
Yeh, winter is when the high is 27 and there's white stuff everywhere. Rocket62, what do you do for hibernate? I keep the batt tender on it and fire 'er up once a week and back it out to keep the lube working. Any day it's over 45 and the roads are clean I'm out for a run.
Get a GenII. And get the extra "daily driver" car. Why knock the snot out of a beautiful car like the Viper. Stop and go commuter driving would not be fun in your Viper especially if yours happens to run hot. Forget snow, and driving in rain could be a lot more exciting than you bargained for...
Congrats! Nothing like owning a Viper. Saw that car in the paper and wondered where it'd go. Brought mine from San Fran a month ago and my first too. Took it out today before the next storm comes in. They're exciting cars. Good luck.
Happened to me the first week I had my RT10. Any thin wire that is bendable (I used baleing wire) with a small magnet attached to the end will get it out. I used a powerful mag to locate the screw (you can hear it rattle) and pushed the wire/mag down to it. Came right out! Tried string first but...
Anybody catch an interesting auction on Ebay? A 2002 RT10, no reserve, never titled w/500+ miles went for 54K. Did have a wheel scratch though. Seems like the Viper market is a little volatile right now. Merry Xmas.
nice \'99 on Ebay
Check out the '99 RT10 on Ebay by Sarasota Jag. Silver/COGNAC! Not lo mi (20K) but I would think a pretty rare Viper. Supposedly in perfect shape. AT
This is just a follow-up to a recent warranty discussion. I stated the "in service date" is the magic # and my newly purchaced 2000 RT10 had missed the window by 7 months for extended warranties. Dodge suggested the lo mi (1800) would still make it happen. I received my extended warrantee in the...
Vipermad, your answer is confusing. There're are any number of posts, yours included, that have a picture below the user name (signature?) which is what RPHJR is refering to. I'd be interested a clarification too. Is this a member only feature? Than  ks, AT
I might as well chime in on this. The "in sevice date" is the magic#. You have 4yrs or 48000 to qualify for the extended war. My car had passed that window (Mar.2000 ISD)but due to the low mi.(1800) my dealer felt there was a good chance the ext.war. would be granted. Will know in another week....AT
Figured I'd do separate post for this.... There's a fairly large gap at left corner of hood where it meets the front facia on my 2000 RT(see "Finally Got Pics"). Is this a user friendly adjustment? Thanks, Alex
