The Quaife was arguably the best mod I (Mark J.) did in my 2006 Paxton Coupe. I made the mistake of just doing a 3.55 the first time, then did it all again when he added the Quaife. BIG difference in control. Do yourself a favor and do gears and the Quaife together one time..
If you want to stick with the stock 3-D look you can purchase 2 sets of emblems and mix them. I pulled the stock silver emblems off my '06, and used a black Viper emblems along with the red SRT. It's the way a yellow w/ black stripe car should have come from the factory IMHO. BTW, I sold the...
Mark, what's your take on them compared to PS2s and PSCs? I really need a stickier rear tire, you think there will be a noticable difference on a Gen3 Paxton 3.55 gear car? You mention some rubbing in the rear, what about the fronts in stock sizing?
Also, are your wheels the same size/offset...
Mark, what's your take on straight line traction? Think these offer a significant advantage over the PS2's on my Paxton car? Over the PSC's? They're really that much bigger? the specs look about the same.. ??
Thanks!
John
Perhaps they should build a Hertz model as well, the SRT-H. A few hundred black w/gold stripe cars that Hertz rents on a limited basis. There would likely be a 100% rented-to-wrecked ratio. :rolaugh:

Ridiculous.
You will never bend a post on a BYB lift. The posts are powercoated not painted. There are self lubricating nylon protectors between the posts and the sleeve. I've probably cycled my lifts 1000 times, there is no wear on the posts. The lock pawls are captured within...
Listen to Mark. Unless you are spooling up for something more than a mid 10 second car, 3.55s are the way to go. 3.55s are what these Gen3-4s should have been delivered with.
