    Window wobbly

Open it up. I had a very similar problem. The plastic gets brittle and will crack and break. I bought a used regulator that had very good plastic. Sounds like Power Window AZ is a good plan. Hope this helps.

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash Part 2

OK Part 2 I've tested everything. I can start the car by going to the starter relay. Now, I noticed that the low fuel indicator light is on (didn't see it before, but it think I just overlooked it) There is 5+ gallons of fuel in the tank. The question...will a Gen 3 Viper not start if the low...

    GEN 3 NO MUFFLER ?

Mine has no mufflers. It has cats and straight pipe, great rumble at idle and driving, not deafening, pops when de-accelerating.

    Treating Faded Seats

Check out leatherrenew (.com) products, some acquaintances have used them. Fortunately, my 2005 seats are great, so I've not needed to re-colorize them. Send info on what you choose and pictures of your results.

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

Haven't found the "loose wire" yet. Bypassing clutch switch didn't change anything. I can start the engine using the starter solenoid test, no engine lights etc. Now, I'm going to create a new circuit from push button start, clutch switch to PDC and see if it starts. I bet it will. If so, I'll...

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

Excellent idea. Once I solve the wiring disconnect, I'll get some dorman sensors and programmer. Thanks!

    Potential New GEN3 Owner?

Welcome. I owned two corvettes in my past. I now own a 2005 Viper and love this car. It has always been reliable...until a week ago I went into the dash to figure out a way to bypass the TPMS Low Tire warning and now I'm working on figuring out what I did to prevent starting. :) Anyway, there's...

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

It appears the Start button, TPMS, Gauges, BCM, and airbag control are all independent, but maybe the TPMS switch is not permitting the start button to connect to PDC.

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

I check all connections again. It appears the Start button, TPMS, Gauges, BCM, and airbag control are all independent, but maybe the TPMS switch is not permitting the start button to connect to PDC. HUmm. I'll check and maybe bypass the TPMS to test.

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

Ah I haven't tested windows or blower. The door locks, interior lights all work. I'll test other systems too. I haven't gone to the BCM yet, I think I'll be working that way next. I removed the radio so I could see the wiring behind, no obvious issues. I did not remove the radio when I went to...

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

I haven't by-passed it yet. I tested the clutch safety switch. It has connectivity to the starter button and tested it in operation and it works.

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Not starting after going into dash

2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Previous owner removed TPS sensors from wheels. So, I went into dash to disable TPMS module to see if the Low Tire warning message could be removed. (it could not) I reassembled everything and when I try to start the car...ignition on, fuel pump on, gauges power up...

    Replacing plug wires

I tackled this project a few weekends ago without removing the manifold. I decided to use hose puller pliers, flexible claw pick up and a block of wood for leverage between the manifold runners. Patience, music and beer. See pictures .

    Gen 3 Reliability

I have a 2005 Mamba with 52,000 miles. Reliable. Engine-wise no issues, strong and bulletproof under normal and fast driving conditions. I recently had the high pressure power steering line disconnect in my cul-de-sac. (quick connect fitting) I replaced the factory steering hoses with...
