    nail in tire

    :( :( Picked up a nail in my left front tire traveling down I-55 @ 70mph, pulled over smooth & slow. Outer side wall was cut by outer edge of rim. But didn't hurt rim. Tires are about 11 months old. Had to buy new tire. Not a happy camper. :dunno:

    Replace wires

    Not as bad as it looks, I did mine, ( Gen 3) Use 1/4 inch sockets with extenshions & swivel joint. I believe the intake manifold gaskets are reuseable. Do 1 wire at a time. Good Luck, you can do it. :rolleyes: :dunno::2tu:

    Just installed Diehard Gold Series AGM battery...

    I installed a new Platinum DieHard in my 06 about a year ago & it's the best battery I've ever used. I believe it's a 900 cca. with 8 year wty. Cost about $200.00 A Viper absolutely needs a strong Battery.

    Always use Mobil One 15W50, and usually buy it at Wal Mart in Lake City,Fl. Hard to find in my area.

    Oil on Spark Plug Threads

    I believe that's a common problem on Heads made of Aluminum & the spark was installed without being torqued properly. Always use air to blow out Area around spark plug BEFORE removing plug. Be Extremely carefull when installing new plugs, don't overtighten. Can't remember what the Torque is @...

    Bad corrosion on bettery terminals

    All Lead Acid batteries "Gas" when being charged, even when engine is running & Alternator is turning. Many people overfill each cell, which causes water/acid to spill out. Then they add water which weakens the Acid content in turn shortening the life & strength of the Battery. Don't be cheap...
